A little about me...
Nearly everyone alive today was asked the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" And nearly every one of them changed their aspirations as they journeyed to adulthood- from princesses and superheroes, to ballerinas and pilots, to fashion designers and astronauts.
When I look back now I realize I was always a little different from those around me. From age five until this very moment the only thing that changed about my original answer was the depth and breadth of it: I want to write stories! I want to write books! I want to be a novelist! I want to write entire worlds into existence that provide an exciting vacation from the mundane for anyone who picks them up; to create characters that are so real that I believe that I truly wrote them into being.
And now, what was once the wish, the desire, the dream, the vision of a child has become a reality.
